Student Ambassador Program
The NAPFA Conference Student Ambassador Program offers students from CFP® Registered Programs a unique opportunity to experience the Fee-Only financial planning profession firsthand.
As a Student Ambassador, you'll attend educational sessions, connect with experienced Fee-Only financial advisors, expand your professional network, and gain behind-the-scenes insight into one of the profession's premier conferences.
In exchange for assisting NAPFA staff throughout the conference, Student Ambassadors gain valuable exposure to the profession and build meaningful connections with advisors, industry partners, and fellow students.

Student Ambassador Benefits
As a Student Ambassador, you will receive:
- Complimentary registration to the NAPFA Fall 2026 National Conference
- Access to all educational sessions, networking events and receptions
- Opportunities to connect with NAPFA volunteers and Fee-Only financial advisors
- Hands-on experience supporting a national professional conference
Student Ambassador Responsibilities
Student Ambassadors play an important role in creating a positive conference experience for attendees. Responsibilities include:
- Greeting attendees and answering general questions
- Assisting with conference registration and check-in
- Helping attendees navigate the CE credit process
- Supporting NAPFA staff in the Solutions Exchange
- Assisting speakers and moderators by serving as microphone runners during educational sessions
- Providing additional on-site support as needed throughout the conference
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be a current undergraduate or graduate student enrolled in a CFP Board Registered Program and in good standing
- Have the support of their Program Director
- Attend the required Student Ambassador orientation and training session
- Attend the full conference, including the Student Volunteer Reception
- Wear business casual attire and conduct themselves professionally throughout the conference
