A nationally recognized LTC expert, Margie has specialized in LTC since 1990. Named an industry's top ten power people by Senior Market Advisor Magazine, since 2000 she has been writing her monthly column "LTCI Insider." She is the author of two books. She is presently a LTC planning specialist with ACSIA Partners, one of the country’s largest brokerage agencies specializing in long term care planning. Previously, she was the National Marketing Coordinator of the LTCP Designation for AHIP – America’s Health Insurance Plan. She also headed a Maryland association of small nursing homes. “My mother used her long term care policy for nine years, starting at age 90. I was able to supervise her care from 1000 miles away, and she had choices and control over where she aged.”
