Erik Carter is a senior financial planner at Financial Finesse, the leading provider of workplace financial wellness programs. He has also regularly provided commentary on personal finance topics to a variety of media outlets, including Forbes, CNBC, Fox Business, and Time Magazine. Prior to joining Financial Finesse, he ran a brokerage office for Edward Jones, advised members of Congress as an independent financial advisor, and was a financial consultant in private client services at Charles Schwab. He earned a B.A. in Economics with honors from NYU and a law degree on a full academic scholarship from the University of San Diego, where he focused on tax and estate planning.
