NAPFA Fall 2026 National Conference

Experience NAPFA Beyond the Sessions
The NAPFA Fall 2026 National Conference is more than a place to earn CE. It’s where Fee-Only financial advisors come together to share ideas, learn from one another, and strengthen the community that makes NAPFA unique.
From engaging education and peer conversations to community gatherings and special events, there are many ways to make the conference experience your own.
Wednesday, October 14 | Start Your Conference Experience Early
Preconference Workshop: Three Domains Workshop (3DW) with George Kinder
Bring the fiduciary standard you give clients to your own team. George Kinder and Kathy Lubar lead this hands-on workshop on inspiring and retaining next-gen talent, because inspired teams are 125% more productive than merely satisfied ones. Earn 8 NAPFA CEs for attending.
Welcome Celebration
Kick off the week by reconnecting with colleagues and meeting fellow attendees during the conference welcome celebration.
Genesis Gathering
A special gathering for Genesis members and invited guests, offering emerging advisors the opportunity to connect with peers, share experiences, and build relationships with other rising leaders in the NAPFA community.
NAPFA Pride Gathering
An opportunity for members of the NAPFA Pride community and allies to connect and celebrate. All are welcome.
Head two blocks from the Hyatt Regency to Skol Brewing Company, a food-forward brewpub in downtown Atlanta serving craft ales and Nordic-inspired fare. Good drinks, good food, and good company.

Thursday, October 15 | Learn, Connect, and Engage

Awards Recognition

Ask an Advisor: Young Professionals
Designed for Genesis members, students, and newer advisors, this interactive conversation format connects emerging professionals with experienced advisors who can share insights, answer questions, and discuss their career journeys.
Ask an Advisor: M&As
Join us for an interactive NAPFA Mergers & Acquisitions Roundtable designed for members interested in buying, selling, or transitioning a fee-only financial planning firm. Attendees will rotate every 10 minutes through five expert-led tables covering the buyer’s perspective, seller’s perspective, legal considerations, M&A matchmaking, and logistics of succession planning. Bring your questions and gain practical insights from professionals working in the M&A space.
Closing Celebration
Wrap up the conference with fellow attendees during the NAPFA Closing Celebration. Celebrate the week, reconnect with colleagues, and enjoy one final opportunity to experience the NAPFA community.

Saturday, October 17 | Finish Strong
CFP Ethics: A Practical Application of CFP Board's Code and Standards
Close out the conference with an ethics session designed to help CFP® professionals apply the CFP Board’s Code of Ethics and Standards of Conduct in their daily practice.
This program fulfills the CFP Board-approved Ethics CE requirement and provides practical guidance on the standards that took effect July 1, 2024.

Keep the Conversation Going
The best conference conversations often happen outside the session room. Select educational sessions will include roundtable discussions immediately following the presentation, giving attendees time to dive deeper into key topics, exchange perspectives, and continue the conversation.
Throughout the week, attendees can also look for additional networking opportunities, informal conversations, and new experiences designed to bring the community together.
Details coming soon.
